Kollicoat IR coating systems are ready-to-use colored coating materials based on Kollicoat IR. Kollicoat IR, a 3rd generation of coating polymers, replaces 1st and 2nd generation coating polymers, HPMC and PVA. Users of Kollicoat IR are impressed with its excellent product properties enabling film coating of highest quality. By combining the polymer Kollicoat IR with a unique innovative manufacturing process, Kollicoat IR coating systems make the coating process extremely easy and safe in handling. The globally approved color pigments are embedded in the Kollicoat IR polymer matrix - a solid dispersion is formed. Therefore, they are unable to separate or agglomerate and accordingly redispersible within minutes.
